Well thats it!
My degree show kicked off last Thursday and it marks the end of my time spent at Leeds University. I graduate on the 17th July (providing I pass of course! Get my Results on Thursday!) and then thats it- I am officially no longer a student!
SCAAAAAAAAARY!!
But I've also been waiting for this moment for a VERY long time. So sure, Im a bit terrified about trying to find a job and finally stepping into 'the real world' (esp. as there are like NO jobs available anywhere atm, and certainly not for a Fine Art degree) but that doesnt really matter, something will work out, but scratch away that superficial fear and Im really quite excited and proud deep down.

So this weekend has been a really great one :D
Along with the expected family, I had a couple of very dear friends from school come up to see my work, and even the lovely ~virtual-inspiration made an epic coach journey from Bristol to come see the sights of Leeds for the weekend. All this made me very happy :D

So after the opening on thursday, spent the rest of the weekend mooching about town, went for Japanese food on the Friday and watched an amusing lightsaber fight between the waiters, and then on the Saturday as a fellow Zelda enthusiast, I took Mart (the long way) to Kirkstall Abbey. It's the beautiful historic site where I previously had an epic photoshoot with =Bonhwa. The place seriously looks like the Temple of Time, which meant I giggled any time one of our phones went off (Zelda ring tones FTW!) So after looking around there and having a picnic in the daisies and sunshine, we found some people doing historical reenactment stuff. It meant we got to look at pretty costumes and swords :D we really wished we had our cosplays with us then!
Walking (the even longer route) back, we stopped off for a strawberry beer (yummm) we made our way home and crashed out for bit, where I then realise I had one impressivly lobster pink arm, and a rather pink face from sitting in the sun too long. Joy.
Also FINALLY got around to seeing X-Men Origins: Wolverine film saturday night, that was good fun :D I'd heard so many mixed reviews on it, I really didn't know what to expect, but it kept me entertained throughout, which means it can't be half bad, because I've been told I'm actually very fussy about films ... that or maybe my Hugh Jackman fangirl side was just shamelessly indulged. either works for me!:XD:
After that got back home, put on Beauty and the Beast to which I promptly fell asleep to after about... 15 min :XD: *fail*

Sunday was a nice lazy day. Had a long lie in, we mt up with another old friend of mine, and did a bit of shopping, before the mad rush to try and get Mart on his coach back to Bristol on time. It was close, but we made it, even if there was a slight hiccup with his ticket! But it all worked out ok in the end I think.

So yeah. Im typing this up monday morning/early afternoon, and realising just how quiet and lonely it is in this flat now that everyone has left :(

It's a good thing =Bonhwa and ~Selphie01 are coming over later to do some cosplay stuff with me!!
************************************************

uh, also now that all my Uni work is over, theres some various DA things I want to catch up on,
couple of Bday pics, and a competition entry I want to get on with... so watch this space!
