Ive been meaning to update this journal for the past 3 weeks or so, but yeah.... Im rubbish at journals.

SO!

First and foremost, a massive MASSIVE "THAAAAANK YOOOOOOOOU!!!" To all my new watchers. theres so many of you, Ive been a bit overwhelmed by the sight of my activity messages. But I really appriciate guys ^___^ You've made me very happy.

And of course, I can't mention watchers or pageviews(!!!) without mentioning the formidable *KellyJane Because, as we all know, the only reason why I have so many new followers is through her fabulous journal entry 8D So thanks babe! I'll let you off buying me that drink now XDDDD

Moving on-
It feels a bit late to mention it now, but yus, I attended the London Oct MCM Expo this year, along with the adorable *serenitythefaierikin and we did dress up as Link and Zelda (myself and Zelda, naturally). It so a great laugh, if utterly exhausting!! I dont think I've ever had my picture taken so many times EVAR. But that was great, as I just took it as a real compliment to our cosplays, so even though I was starting to cranky towards the end, I really appriciated the fantastic posative attention we got.

Highlights of the expo would be:
1) Meeting Ashley! (she was the reason I pulled my ass down there! And was an awesome Link :3 Thanks again for letting me crash with yoooou xxxx)

2) Gatecrashing in the Masquerade (I totally couldnt be arsed with signing up for it myself, but when we arrived, we bumped into two guys who were entering as Marth and Ike in a SSBB entry, and asked if we'd like to join. I said yes right away, mainly so I could throw poor Ashley in at the deep end- this expo was her first ever con experience! and considering we did like... No rehersal for it, I think we looked pretty ok up there - apart from the fact I can never keep a straight face!!)

3) Heckling the Parle Crew everytime I got the chance ( I luff you guyz! you all looked awesome, and Im just sorry I didnt have more time to catch up with you! xxxx)


So after Expo, there was Halloween which I spent with ~virtual-inspiration and the rest of Bristol crew. Twas a most enjoyfull lolerific time. Jumped in with the EPIC Bristol Zombie walk, and then went on to a house party where much drinking, and dodging happening were to be found, and once again I prooved myself to be the most manly person in the room. *flex* Me and Mart even went to the Zoooooo! (I'd only been to the zoo once before in my life- I get excited about these things...) and here's what we found! - [link] We entered with caution. I didnt know if we'd find Midna (joy) or sparkley Vampires ( DDDDDDDD: )

so getting more up to date with things, life in general is still grinding along in unemployed dullness, with the great exception of an interview coming up for The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

Having had no luck with a job of ANY kind since my graduation in July, I've decided to try and get back into education and start taking my costuming seriously. REALLY Seriously. The Old Vic only accepts four students a year. FOUR. FOOOOOUR!!!?? My interview is only weeks away (7th dec!!), so Im trying to throw together a decent portfolio of all my cosplay stuff. Needless to say- slight panic going on! I want this so badly o.o so wish me luck huh?

and of course Lastly, we have the Grand Cosplay Ball.
I missed it last year and was gutted, so Im making a big effort this year! I'm just about all done with my costume, aside from finishing the underskirt. I really hope it looks ok! I'm always terrified of debuting a new cosplay D:
I'm not going to say what it is exactly, except that it's an orginal design Ive made for a character I have already cosplayed. I'm pretty sure that You'll know me when you see me! And if you're not attending the ball, I've have pics posted up ASAP - I need to get some good ones for my portfolio- great excuse for photoshoooooot ^____^
